New Studies Show Mediterranean Diet Lowers Alzheimer's & PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease) Risk

The diet in both 7 country studies consists mostly of:
  • Beans
  • Fish
  • Fruits
  • Garlic
  • Olive Oil - Extra Virgin
  • Olives
  • Nuts
  • Vegetables
  • Whole Grain Bread
  • Whole Grain Pasta (made fresh each day)
  • Whole Grain Rice
Gary Null lived in Italy for awhile. He said their oils were all from olives, avocados, and walnuts. They ate very little meat, dairy, and poultry products. Gary added that lifestyle factors, such as extended social support systems and more physical activity might also play a part.
