Why Vegans Develop Macular Degeneration & Skin Problems

David Sandoval, host of "The Health Discovery Show," expained why vegans have the most eye problems. Beta-carotenes in plants convert to water soluble vitamin A, but you still need fat soluble vitamin A. There is no natural vegetarian source of fat soluble vitamin A. The best places to get fat soluble vitamin A are:
  • Fresh organic free-range eggs
  • Cold water fish
  • Cod liver oil
Skin conditions can be avoided with vitamin B12. The best natural vegetarian sources of vitamin B12 are:
  • Fermented vegetables
  • Spirulina
Spirulina is a natural source of a small amount of assimiable vitamin B12. If you can allow yourself fresh organic free-range eggs or raw organic goat's milk, you would have abundant vitamin B12.

If a particular group of foods cause your eczema to flare-up, it might be easier to figure out exactly which ones are the problem. A good way to treat eczema should start with a trip to a licensed medical professional to ensure the diagnosis is correct.

It is true that some nutritional deficiencies are observed among vegetarian. For the skin problem, virgin coconut oil can help a lot.
