Bruce Kumar Frantzis, Taoist Lineage Master, a guest on The Debra Ray Show, talked Chi Gung and Tai Chi, which is part of Chi Gung. He explained that, "Half the people in China that take up Tai Chi, started after the age of 50. They do it to rejuvenate their bodies. They do it for medical reasons. To get their body to work again." Bruce listed some of the many things Tai Chi can do for you.
- Balance the Acupuncture channels in your body.
- Delay the decrease of aerobic capacity usually found in senior citizens, according to the American Heart Association.
- Exercise your energy channels.
- Get rid of stress.
- Help arthritis.
- Improve blood circulation.
- Lower blood pressure.
- Reduce the rate of falls in the elderly.
- Teach people how to relax their nervous system.

Now more and more young college students learn and practice tai chi chuan. The earlier one starts, more power one could accumulate.
