51 Deaths From ADHD Drugs Prompt Black Box Warnings

See my January 6, 2006, posting - Many Reports of Deaths, Strokes, Heart Attacks, & High Blood Pressure in Kids & Adults Taking ADHD Drugs, Launch Government Study. The FDA has received so many reports of sudden death, strokes, and heart attacks in kids & adults taking ADHD drugs, that the FDA Advisory Panel has cancelled the new study into ADHD drugs safety. The FDA Advisory Panel decided that black box warnings should be placed on these drugs due to the 51 deaths reported. ADHD drugs include such drugs as Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta, Methylin, Metadate.
