Alzheimer's Diesease, Parkinsons Disease, Dementia, ALS, and MS Help & Prevention

Gary Null read a study, from Cornell University, on his show today. The study showed that quercetin, a very important bioflavanoid, protects nerve cells from oxidative damage associated with Alzheimer's Disease. Smoking, drinking, exercises, and stress create free radicals. Free radicals, when they oxidize, cause oxidative stress. You should take extra antioxidants that will help trap the free radicals. Quercetin was more protective than Vitamin C in the studies. Gary Null recommended taking 2,000 to 3,000 mg of quercetin and 10,000 to 15,000 mg of Vitamin C a day to both help and prevent Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinsons Disease, Dementia, ALS, and MS.

Although Gary Null recommends 10,000 to 15,000 mg of Vitamin C a day, I can only take a maximum of 3,000 mg a day. Vitamin C is taken to bowel tolerance. If you take too much, you will get diarhhea. Just back off on the amount until you no longer get diarrhea. It's best to take Vitamin C throughout the day to keep your blood levels up. I take half a packet of Alacer Emer' Gen-C about every 3 hours.
